See relocation information

Being able to see relocation information (where buyers are from, where sellers are moving) can be a very helpful tool in understanding trends in your local market.

To access this information from within connectMLS, go to the Tools, Resources & Links widget on the home page and click SmartMLS Stats:

When the SmartMLS Stats dashboard opens, go to the Data Tools section and click Migration Reports:

There are more than half a dozen different migration reports to choose from:

The Sellers To (Map) report provides a clean visual representation of where sellers are going after they sell their property. There is also a convenient table on the right side of the map that breaks down the data:

There are a couple of drop-down menus on the left side of the map that allow you to get more granular with the report:

1. Use the Moving From drop-down to narrow the focus of the report to one specific county (or multiple counties) rather than the entire state of Connecticut. By default, the report will generate based on all 8 counties within the state.
    
2. The Time Period drop-down menu lets you generate the report based on a time period of your choosing. The default time period covers the previous 12 months.
   
   There is a second drop-down menu directly beneath the time period that allows you to narrow your search by closed price.
