Being able to see relocation information (where buyers are from, where sellers are moving) can be a very helpful tool in understanding trends in your local market.
To access this information from within connectMLS, go to the Tools, Resources & Links widget on the home page and click SmartMLS Stats:
When the SmartMLS Stats dashboard opens, go to the Data Tools section and click Migration Reports:
You can then generate comprehensive reports for relocation activity into and out of the state of CT. The Sellers To: Map report, for instance, provides a nice visual representation of where sellers are going after they sell their property. There is also a convenient table (on the right side of the map) that breaks down the data:
The data defaults to the previous 12 months, but you can customize the date range to suit your needs.
Additionally, there are several options in the upper left corner that allow you to manipulate how the data is displayed:
